The hands in the middle of the picture include and extra hand on the little girl's upstretched hand that is bending backwards to recieve her mother, gwen's hand.
The wrist is flesh coloured exactly as the rest of the other hands. The thumb is on the wrong side of the phantom hand. Mike, thanks for participating. I like your work. But I can't let this go.
Couldn't the "wrist" be a doll or some other toy, maybe a Christmas gift? And the "phantom hand" the girl's real hand?
